Proudly Coloured Comedy celebrates its unique brand

Proudly Coloured Comedy celebrates eighth year of top-notch side-splitting laughs.

CELEBRATING eight years of bringing you top-notch side-splitting laughs, with newcomers alongside seasoned comedians, Proudly Coloured Comedy returns for its eighth year with its unique brand of proudly and unapologetic comedy from a uniquely coloured perspective October 7 at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City.

A must see for a look into the hilarious insights of what being coloured in South Africa means from some of the funniest comedians from all corners of SA, including Charles Ash, Daryl Williams, Dillan Oliphant, Justin Ray, Prins and Shanray van Wyk. Adding a flair to the line-up includes actress and comedienne Shika Budhoo, as well as an open spot for an up-and-coming comedian that will be chosen through a talent search competition at Fred Norman Secondary School.

Cognisant of the sometimes foul-mouthed antics of comedians, Proudly Coloured Comedy: 8Ou Pot8 Ou is a no-swearing show, making it accessible for all ages.

Proudly Coloured Comedy: 8 Ou Pot8 Ou tickets are available from R150 at Computicket. Both shows start at 3pm. Ten per cent of the ticket sales will be donated to HWC Family Restoration Africa based in Ennerdale.
