Mark your calendar for a cultural experience like no other

Residents and tourists alike can enjoy an exciting day of cultural discovery and entertainment.

Residents and visitors are invited to attend the Taste of Cultures festival, a vibrant celebration of diversity and unity taking place on May 23 at the Apartheid Museum from 10:00 to 15:00.

The event is presented in partnership with the Apartheid Museum, SOJO Business and Tourism and Zaza Legacy Markets.

Africa Month is celebrated annually to honour the continent’s rich heritage, cultures and shared identity. This year’s event aims to bring people together by embracing cultures from around the world and encouraging connection through food, art and entertainment.

Guests can look forward to a lively atmosphere filled with delicious cuisines, beautiful arts and crafts, and cultural performances representing different communities and traditions. Organisers say the festival will offer a unique opportunity for people to experience and appreciate global cultures in one exciting gathering.

Ticket prices for international visitors, including SADC countries, are R240 for adults and R190 for students, pensioners and children.

South African citizens with identification will pay R170 for adults and R120 for students, pensioners and children.
