The Upper Room Christian Church to host a Movie Day
The event will start at 12 pm at Upper Room Christian church at 34 Bellavista Road, corner Reeder Street in Haddon.
THE Upper Room Christian Church is inviting members of the public to attend its Movie Day on July 6.
The purpose of this Movie Day is to reach out to young people who have suffered the hurt of an absent father. The church wants to defuse the anger, killings, bitterness, and frustrations in young people’s lives.
Jackie Crosson, one of the church members, said this generation has no vision and without vision, they will perish as we sadly see many young people dying. “We are trusting God for restoration and healing between fathers and sons.”
The church has invited a special guest, Charley Pietersen, who is the author of several books including Growing up without a Father.
The event will start at 12pm at Upper Room Christian church at 34 Bellavista Road, corner Reeder Street in Haddon.
Cost is R20 including popcorn and drinks.
