Truck drives off Main Road bridge in Fourways
The driver of a truck that drove off a bridge in Fourways could not be found at the scene.
An unmarked truck fell over a bridge on Main Road in Juskskei Park between Lonehill and Kyalami.
This happened on September 29 at 18:00 and was spotted by a resident at 06:00 the following morning.
According to Sector 4 patroller, Darryl Van Niekerk, who was on the scene, “The driver is nowhere to be found. We ran the plates to see who the truck belongs to and a foreign guy came up.”
The truck allegedly belongs to a business because the driver was transporting sand. Medics are shocked that the driver survived the crash because the truck landed upside down. The incident caused traffic when being towed out of the area. Residents were advised to use alternative roads.
