Luxury uncovered at Palazzo Hotel
MONTCASINO - British TV personality Jenny Powell launched her new series, 'Luxury Uncovered' at the penthouse suite of Montecasino's Palazzo Hotel.
The setting was apt, considering the show chronicles Powell’s stays at five-, six- and seven-star resorts around the world.
Powell explained the series was more than just a showcase of luxury travel: it also gives the viewer a glimpse behind the scenes of creating luxury experiences.
She said, “‘Luxury Uncovered’ focuses on the attention to detail that goes into delivering five-, six- and seven-star service.”
During the series Powell tried her hand at various hospitality jobs, from being a tour guide to a chef.
Two of the episodes were filmed in South Africa and Powell, whose parents hail from Cape Town, was especially pleased with this.
She said, “Without a doubt the most beautiful place that I’ve ever travelled to is South Africa. I love the energy and the people here. I honestly feel like I’m at home in South Africa.”
‘Luxury Uncovered’ premieres on the Travel Channel on 24 October at 20:00.
