Bear Foundation supports a Diepsloot pre-school

Fourways Review journalist Varushka Padayachi visited the home at 9am on 18 July to see the Bear Foundation hand over groceries to the school. The children also received soft toys.

The Bear Foundation is a non-profit organisation that empowers young women in Diepsloot and Cosmo City.

For Mandela Day they are undertaking 67 minutes of random acts of kindness and a “long walk to cleanliness”. The young women that the foundation helps to empower will clean up litter in various areas of the community.

The foundation’s members started they day by preparing a tasty meal for the children at Little Lambs Pre-School.
