Gastronomical genius in Fourways
MONTECASINO - Fourways foodies descended on 3Sixty Degrees Liquid Lounge in Montecasino for their August Sensational Gastronomy evening.
The evenings are hosted on the first Wednesday of every month and are a themed celebration of food, drink and entertainment.
August’s Sensational Gastronomy evening was themed, La Dolce Vita and was a feast of all things Italian. Live music set the relaxed yet excited mood for the night which started with a reconstructed version of a Caprese salad accompanied by a refreshing Italian Hugo, a cocktail made with white wine and elderflower syrup. The piece-de-resistance of the four-course menu was the trio of rabbit which consisted of seared rabbit, rabbit ragu and loin of rabbit with asparagus and artichoke hearts as sides. Combining good food, exciting cocktails and live music, no diner left disappointed.
The next Sensational Gastronomy evening will take place on 3 September with the theme Spring has sprung.
