Ark puppies need good homes
CHARTWELL - Ark Animal Centre in Chartwell has some adorable new puppies and dogs up for adoption.
The centre is one of the leading rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelters in South Africa.
They are a non-profit organisation which specialises in the homing and care of puppies, as well as pregnant dogs.
They currently have lots of playful puppies up for adoption including Isis and Justeen, two female Yorkshire terriers who love each other so much that they can’t be separated. “We tried separating them and they go into depression,” said Candice Eilertsen of the shelter.
Manager Tracy Otto, said the adoption fee of R900 included inoculations, a rabies shot, deworming and sterilisation when the puppy reaches six months of age.
The shelter relies on donations from the community to give their canine residents veterinary care, food and quality living conditions.
