Itec raises R200K for charity
PAULSHOF - Paulshof-based telecommunications company, Itec raised more than R200 000 at its annual charity golf day at Randpark Golf Club.

In partnership with Lexmark, Mitel, Merchant West, Printsol, Tarsus Technologies, MIA Telecoms/Samsung, ABSA and Sunlyn, funds were raised and assisted for charities.
Gavin Meyer, executive director of Itec Shared Services said the annual event was a highlight on the company’s calendar. The day provides Itec with the opportunity to deepen relationships with valued business partners, and allows the organisation and its partners to make a meaningful impact on charities that service the community.
Beneficiaries of the golf day included the South African National Council on Alcoholism which received R75 000, the SPCA which received R55 000 and Roodepoort Child and Family Welfare which received R60 000. Alberton Hospice was the charity nominated by the winning four ball and it received R10 000.
“There are some amazing charity organisations working hard to make a difference and as a business we remain committed to assisting those in the forefront of making a difference in our society,” Meyer added.
