Nissan Easter Festival fun

MIDRAND - Every year the Nissan Easter Festival attracts many horse enthusiasts, furry friends and families, and this year was no different.

This year, more families attended the festivities, greater entries were received for the equestrian competitions and interest certainly spiked at this annual celebration.

The 10-day festival saw many families, friends and their furry friends gathered at the Kyalami Equestrian Park to see the competition and to take a lovely stroll among the horses. Food, entertainment and socialising did not come in short supply.

With over 10 000 people attending the show and in excess of 1 000 show entries received, chairperson of the park, Clem dos Santos explained why this show was once again a success.

“The 2015 show was hugely successful due to the synergy that exists between Nissan and the world-class equestrian event managed by the Kyalami Park Club,” he said.

“People come from all over the country for this event because they know they are guaranteed fabulous kids play zones with various arts and crafts; test drives and competitions; interesting food stalls and a village.”

“All this in addition to witnessing the finest equestrian competition on the continent,” said dos Santos.
