Laughter and ridiculous fun at the launch of Ridiculousness Africa
MAGALIESSIG – Guests laughed till their tummies ached while watching the antics, stunts and life-threatening feats on Ridiculousness Africa.
The first-ever comedy TV show of its kind to be aired in South Africa and the continent, Ridiculousness Africa, was launched at Cantare Club in Montecasino.

The launch was hosted by South African film and TV award-winning actor, comedian and TV host, Thomas Gumede, who showcased the first episode to the guests. The show explores the length and breadth of the Internet to hunt down the weirdest and most stupid stunts committed on video to give the audience a good laugh.

Alongside Gumede, TV personality, Boity Thulo and comedian, Bright Okpocha will co-host the series. “We have been having so much fun on set and I have been laughing so hard my chest hurts. I love the fact that Thomas and I get along – not to mention the fact that he is also my height – so all in all, it is going to be a great show,” Boity said.
Ridiculousness Africa airs weekly on MTV, DStv channel 130 at 9.15pm.
