Taxis make our streets unsafe

Hi, I am a resident of Fourways. I live on Sunset Avenue and I would like to know, since when are taxis allowed to come on to this road to pick up people and to block the road?

Yesterday and today I have been experiencing a problem with this as they block the circle and the entrance and exit of the complex that I reside in. This is totally unacceptable as accidents could be caused, and when I contacted JMPD to query this and log a complaint, they cut me off twice.

I’m not sure if you can assist with this matter but I would really appreciate any assistance regarding this as it is for the safety of all the residents in the area.
