An attempt to create the longest convoy the Fourways area has ever seen, took place on 28 October as celebrities and media personnel buckled up in the new Opel Adam.
The traffic-stopping event, which was all thanks to Montecasino and escorts provided by Metro police, saw guests driving 31 Opel Adam vehicles in a bid to pull off the longest convoy in the country.
The 31-car convoy travelled from the Williams Hunt dealership in Cedar Square to Montecasino which was courtesy of their latest promotion, Monte Madness, which will kick off on 4 November.
The promotion, valued at more than R7 million, is set to see an Opel Adam vehicle given away every day for 31 days.
“What makes this promotion truly insane is that anyone visiting Montecasino can be part of the fun and stands a chance to win. We are looking forward to welcoming each and every one and giving them an experience to remember,” the general manager of Montecasino, Glenn Joseph expressed.
The vice president for sales, service and marketing for General Motors South Africa (GMSA), Brian Olson explained that they were thrilled that Montecasino chose to buy 31 Opel Adams.
“This trendy car comes with all the latest technology of modern city movers. I believe the winners of the cars will truly experience something special with the stylish supermini,” Olson said.
The promotion is not restricted to Montecasino cardholders, as guests playing slot machines or tables games on the main casino floor from 4 November to 4 December from 12pm to 8pm can also quality to win a vehicle.
