Caxton readers enjoy free screening of Trolls
FOURWAYS – Montecasino hosted a free screening of the film Trolls for Caxton readers to thank them for voting their venue Best Cinema Complex since 2013.
Montecasino recently invited Caxton readers to attend a free screening of the new movie Trolls in order to thank them for voting Montecasino the Best Cinema Complex since 2013 in the Best of Joburg initiative.
The movie was screened at Montecasino cinema recently, and readers could enjoy the screening for free while also receiving a complimentary box of popcorn and a drink, and had the opportunity to win prizes handed out before the film began.
Trolls is a computer-animated musical comedy based on the line of toys that more mature readers will remember from their own childhood. It includes Anna Kendrick from Pitch Perfect and musician/actor Justin Timberlake as the voices of the main characters. It is the story of two trolls, Princess Poppy and Branch, who go on an adventure to rescue their friends from being eaten by the miserable creatures called Bergens.

After the screening, a couple of the Trolls characters were present outside the cinema to meet and greet the audience, causing much excitement from the kiddies who enjoyed the film. We are proud to have received the Leisure Options Best of Joburg Award for the Best Cinema Complex as voted for by readers. Our thanks goes to the public who voted us to the number one spot yet again! In celebration, Movies@Montecasino will be offering a 50 per cent discount on all movie tickets, Mondays – Thursdays and will run up until 19 January 2017,” said Glenn Joseph, GM Montecasino.
