Hirsch’s Fourways Domestic Worker of the Month recognised and cooking skills shared
FOURWAYS – Hirsch's Fourways announced their new domestic worker of the month.
At the recent domestic workers cooking course, women were welcomed by Kim Colvin, owner of Hornbill Creations, which based in Dainfern and specialises in training the youth, housewives and domestics in the fine skill of cooking.
Colvin took trainees through the various steps entailed in the making of an Easter fridge cake.
The recipe was sent via SMS directly to their cellphones for ease of reference.
Participants were also given an in-depth talk by Philips Electronic Company about various types of irons and were shown the correct manner in which to use them.
At the end of the morning’s training session, Colvin kindly sponsored five cooking courses and lucky draws were held. The Domestic Worker of the Month, Agnes Molaoli, received a R300 Hirsch’s voucher and a certificate.
Molaoli was nominated by her employer, Thato Ntene, who said Molaoli was more than just a domestic worker to the family as she always went above and beyond her duty. Adding that she is a passionate and enthusiastic person.
