DIEPSLOOT – the 4Paws animal shelter has many dogs and cats that are desperate for good homes. Here are some of the dogs available for adoption.
The 4Paws animal shelter was started by Merinda Brits in 2006 and since then, it has offered a safe haven to mistreated or abandoned animals and also provides veterinary services to animals in townships like Diepsloot.
Brits said, “We pick up abused, abandoned or feral animals daily and definitely get more animals coming in than we can home.
“Some of the animals at the shelter come to us because they were strays or were feral, but some have been abandoned by their owners and others are born and raised in the shelter.”
While 4 Paws has a lot of friendly dogs and puppies, they also provide a home for dozens of cats that they also rehabilitate.
