Standard Bank Business Breakfast Series an inspiring platform
MONTECASINO – A business breakfast session inspires.
Former African National Congress Member of Parliament, Dr Makhosi Khoza has urged South Africans to continue to fight for integrity in its leaders.
Khoza was one of the speakers at the Standard Bank Business Breakfast series, in association with Jacaranda FM, held at Montecasino. The speakers were introduced by Jacaranda FM radio personalities, Rian Van Heerden and Martin Bester.
In her address to the attendees, Khoza spoke politics. “I am hoping you will not leave but stay and help fix South Africa. We also need to invest in quality education,” she said.
Other speakers for the day included rugby player, Warren Whiteley who commented on the 2023 Rugby World Cup bid.

He said he was surprised by France’s World Cup bid win and speaking about the Springboks admitted that he has cried twice after losing a game. “But, success and failure are written on ice; the sun shines tomorrow,” he said.
An innovator and theoretical physicist, Adriana Marais took attendees through a talk on the planet Mars and said she is inspired by humans who go where no one else has gone before. Marais is the only female among a group of people who are set to embark on the first mission to Mars in the near future.

Businesswoman, former Miss South Africa and inspiring entrepreneur, Basetsana Kumalo shared her entrepreneurial journey and encouraged South Africans to always follow their passion, in life and work and never give up.
“In life, you have to put up your hand and show up, write down your plans and hold yourself accountable to them in order to see your growth,” said Kumalo.
