Crawford Lonehill comes out on top of the Ian Duncan Karate Centre’s Inter School Championship 2017

KYALAMI – Crawford Lonehill has come out on top of the second stage of the Ian Duncan Karate Centre Inter-school Championship Finals! Find out more here.

 

The Ian Duncan Karate Centre hosted its inter-school championship finals in early November, with Crawford Lonehill coming out on top.

The competition was held over two rounds during the year, the first, held at the end of July and the second held during the first week in November.

It has also become more popular over time, as the number of entries doubled since the first competition.

Athletes from six local schools took part in the competition which included Beaulieu Preparatory School, Dainfern College Prep School, Crawford Lonehill, Kyalami Primary School, Bryanston High School and Jubilate Primary School.

About 45 children competed on the day of the finals and ranged in age from four to 17 years old.

The top three ranked schools were:

  • Crawford Lonehill – 47 points
  • Beaulieu Prep – 39
  • Dainfern – 37
