Covid-19: local businesses need your support
Caxton Local Media would like to highlight a few advertisers who are working hard to service our community during these tough times.

The time is now, more than ever, to support our local businesses.
With the National lockdown in full effect, businesses in our area are doing all that they can to meet customer demands, and keep their doors open.
As consumers, there are ways that you can support businesses, and save jobs. By buying local, you support those around you who need it most. Even during lockdown, consider buying gift vouchers to redeem at a later stage, or be ready to shop as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
A number of local businesses have been hard at work ensuring that consumers remain supplied with essential goods and services. Top hygiene practices are being followed, along with social distancing regulations to ensure that consumers remain safe while shopping for those essential goods.

This week, SPAR, Pick ‘n Pay, The Eye Guy Optometrist and Vodacom are all offering specials on basic supplies, while British International Distance College is keeping learners updated, and Remax Masters and Balwin Properties are making sure that the property market remains intact. Boledi Airconditioning is informing readers that they will be open again after the lockdown.
- SPAR’s specials include 2L Coldrinks, ice cream milk and breakfast cereals at fantastic prices.

- Pick ‘n Pay is offering great prices on meat, coffee, and washing powder. They also have supplies needed for the care of babies including nappies and wet wipes, as well as vegetable hampers.

- The Eye Guy Optometrist, a specialist dry eye and contact lens centre, is offering a 20% discount to all Discovery clients.

- Another sector being massively impacted by the National lockdown is of course schools. British International Distance College is keeping children informed and educated with staff working remotely while the lockdown is in place.

- Vodacom is also coming to the party, with exciting specials to help customers with working and studying from home.

- Remax Masters is advertising their latest rental listings.

- Balwin Properties is advertising free levies and electricity for a year, on selected apartments.

- Bodeli Air Conditioning will be open for business after the lockdown.

All sectors of our communities are having to think creatively during this time, and we ask community members to be supportive of local businesses in their bid to service your needs.
