One seriously injured in motorcycle collision
SUNNINGHILL – Emer-G-Med advanced life support (ALS) paramedics transported the patient to the nearest facility care.
Emer-G-Med responded to a motorcycle collision on the corner of Witkoppen and Leewkop Roads on 19 August at around 5.55pm.
According to Caitlin Kruger, a member of the Emer-G-med team, a biker was travelling down Witkoppen Road towards the highway when another vehicle swerved in front of him. “The patient lost control of the motorcycle and fell. Advanced life support (ALS) paramedics were called to the scene and the patient was then transported to hospital under the care of our ALS,” she explained.
