Hirsch’s kicks off Entrepreneurs Workshop for the year

FOURWAYS – Hirsch's Entrepreneurs Workshops kicked off the new year with a bang.

The popular Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop events that have been successfully held on a regular basis for the last two years recently kicked off again.

The workshops, hosted by businesswomen Margaret Hirsch, the executive director of the Hirsch’s group and business coach with Marlene Powell, are held on a weekly basis every Friday between 11am and 12pm. The events are free of charge online and attended by entrepreneurs from around the country.

Longevime’s Dr. Tamara Pheiffer joined Hirsch and Powell in a recent session. Pheiffer has focused her career on life extension, youth enhancement and mental and physical optimisation. Pheiffer said that during 2020 she saw a big increase in inflammation in the patients she consulted. She said that the inflammation triggers come from social conflict, social isolation and social rejection.

“People have been in a fight or flight situation for the last 11 months and this is the reason why these conditions will have occurred.”

Keeping the gut environment healthy is vital for one’s general health, Pheiffer explained. “We also need to work on our stress levels as stress impacts the gut by decreasing nutrient absorption, oxygenation, metabolism and enzymatic output.”

Powell added that “health is our wealth”. She said, “Business is only one aspect of your life. You need to create a healthy balance. It’s vital to put your personal goals in with your business goals and distribute your time fairly between the business and your personal life.”

Hirsch encouraged attendees to keep their businesses going no matter what. “If you don’t have a backup plan you need to put one in place. Don’t be distracted by all the negative energy out there. Look ahead, plan ahead, set goals, put your vision board in place and you will succeed.”
