Local non-profit organisation halts weekly cleaning campaign due to lack of funding
FOURWAYS– Robson said lack of donations have made it difficult for the organisation to continue with its weekly cleaning operations.
After two years of community service, Live Life Always (LLA) has decided to cease conducting its weekly volunteer service.
Co-founder of the non-profit organisation, Sean Williams, recently announced on social media that the organisation will stop its weekly cleaning campaigns in and around Fourways.
The organisation that advocates for a clean, safe and litter-free environment was established in 2020 by Sean Williams together with his long-time friend Lovemore Robson amid the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.

Williams thanked local people and businesses for their support and urged South Africans to take care of their neighbourhoods and promote a safe and clean environment at all times.
He said that the last clean-up under the initiative took place on January 19. “It has been an incredible two years, writing on this group, showing pictures of clean-ups, reaching over 100 000 bags (881 tons) of rubbish collected and 120 dustbins built. I thank all the people who believed in this – not only me, but the beautiful people who worked with me and supported us with all their hearts,” he said.

Robson, Live Life Always co-founder, said lack of donations have made it difficult for the organisation to continue its cleaning operations. “Due to lack of financial support, we’ve decided to stop doing weekly cleaning campaigns. We will only conduct special cleaning campaigns once or twice per month,” Robson said.
Williams said he will continue with his journey of saving the planet as he moves to Zanzibar. “I urge all of you, to really take the dire situation this planet is facing and, each day, give back to our beautiful home,” he said.
