Former Springbok player, Richard “Richie” Bands hosts golf day to give back to the community

Bands thanked event organisers for inviting him to be part this year’s Corporate Champions Golf Day.

South African rugby legend and former Springbok player Richard ‘Richie’ Bands in partnership with TR Brand Communications hosted the 2022 Corporate Champions Golf Day.

The prestigious golf day event was held at the Steyn City golf course on April 14 and was attended by celebrities and representatives of leading corporations across South Africa.

Bands thanked the event organisers for inviting him to be part of this year’s Corporate Champions Golf Day.

“I am excited to be part of such an important event that seeks to give back to the community. It’s a great honour for me to participate in it,” Bands said.

Reigning Mrs South Africa Jo Judnick-Wilson who attended the event as a special guest said, “I’m honoured to be part of the Corporate Champions ‘Play to Inspire’ Golf Day at Steyn City this year. It has been an amazing and fulfilling experience meeting and engaging with the golfers and teams who came out to support the charity beneficiary. It certainly was a memorable event.’’

Senior executive at TR Brand Communications Esther Lumumba said giving back to the community was one of their core values.
