New members bring much-needed skills to Fourways organisation
President of the club said the new members will help the organisation deliver its services to the community.
Fourways Lions Club recently hosted an induction dinner to welcome new members to the club.
The Fourways-based non-profit organisation, which offers different kinds of help in the community, also celebrated its third-year anniversary and the opening of a new branch Alberton.

Club president Natalie Laas said the new members will help the organisation deliver its services to the community. “The Fourways Lions Club helps the community [with] numerous upliftment projects within Fourways and surrounding areas. Community services include eradicating hunger, preserving the environment and raising awareness and helping those living with diabetes and paediatric cancer, among other things.”
“Today [July 9], we hosted an induction event to welcome four new members to our organisation. The new members include Ronald Daintree, Sam Smith, Jolene Scott and Erin Scott bringing the total number of our members to 14.”

Laas said she was happy that more people were joining the organisation to volunteer their time and skills to help those in need.
