Crawford International Lonehill took part in the annual Inter Crawford Winter Sports festival from July 27 to 29 at Camp Konka in Rustenburg.
According to the school’s client experience officer Robyn Swanepoel, the sports festival was a huge success and the learners were excited to be back participating in one of the sporting highlights of their year.

“New friendships were made among all Crawford Preparatory schools from around the country, with laughter filling the air throughout the day and evening activities,” said Swanepoel.
The Lonehill learners wore blue, to differentiate them from the other Crawford schools. The sports festival was described as having a real sense of togetherness and a spirit of good friendship between the schools and all learners who were involved in the festival over the three days.

The learners participated in a variety of sports such as hockey, netball and football. The Crawford International Lonehill learners showed sportsmanship and respect towards the other ‘Crawfords’ while still being competitive during the games.
Most of all, it was an opportunity for the learners to come together and play the winter sports that they love while holding the Crawford spirit high.
