“Our school focuses on teaching learners, life and vocational skills that will enable them to enter the labour market and become self-sufficient and contributing members of society. The SA Chef’s Association decided to visit us today to help teach our learners how to make good and healthy food. The event gave our learners an opportunity to interact and learn from best qualified chefs from SA Chef’s Association.”

Yejna Maharaj from SA Chef’s Association said they decided to partner with Edustreams because it best emulates their theme for this year International Chef’s Day.

“International Chefs Day is observed all over the world on October 20 of every year. The day celebrates chefs and spreads awareness about eating healthy. This year we decided to partner with Edustreams because they best emulate what we want to achieve. Our aim through this event is to teach children about healthy eating. We want them to know that you don’t need to be rich to eat healthy but with simple recipes that we taught them everyone can eat healthy,”
