Riders prepare for the 2022 SA Eventing Championships to be held at Inanda Country Base

SA Eventing's organiser said riders horse riders received much-needed skills at the clinics.

The SA Eventing Champs hosted clinics at Inanda Country Base in Kyalami on October 26 and 27 to help sharpen the riding skills of local and international horse riders.

Thirty-four 34 riders and their horses from different parts of the country and abroad participated in a two-day event.

Naomi Strydom participates in the horse riding clinics.

SA Eventing organiser Patrick Brown said the clinics were part of the preparations for the forthcoming national championships event to be held at Inanda Country Base from November 26 and 27.

“We’ve roped in experienced coaches like Jo Rimmer who is an accomplished five-star event rider from England to prepare our riders for this year’s SA Eventing Championships at the end of November. Top riders like Jo are able to give us a taste of what can be expected from riders and horses competing abroad. Jo also coaches two South African riders based in England and has helped them achieve so much in the sport.”
