Sunninghill Striders ends the year on a high note
Sunninghill Striders had a blast together while celebrating their year-end function.
Sunninghill Striders Running Club hosted a year-end function for its members.
The event took place on October 28 at The German Country Club in Paulshof.
Striders’ chairperson Mariska Venter said, “This was to say thank you to our members for the valued support. We announced our male and female strider of the year who would usually be someone who has excelled in their running throughout the year. Our two striders of the year did exceptionally well in the Comrades Marathon.
“We also had a male and female most improved strider of the year. We had two striders who went from barely running to running their first marathon in October. All in all, it’s a day where we celebrate a successful year and say thank you to our members for their support and for choosing Sunninghill as their running club. We had so much fun. The food and service were super great.”
