The August sun lit up the track as families, petrol heads, and the simply curious streamed through the gates, greeted by the unmistakable symphony of revving engines. Hot laps had hearts racing, while test drives gave visitors the chance to experience the thrill of the open road, without ever leaving the circuit.

Every corner of the circuit offered something to dive into. Sim racing arenas saw crowds cheer as competitors battled it out on the virtual track, while interactive zones gave visitors the chance to get behind the wheel in ways they never had before. From motion simulators to brand showcases, there was no shortage of ways to be part of the action.

Prizes were up for grabs throughout the day, adding a buzz of excitement to an already electric atmosphere. The festival felt less like a traditional exhibition and more like a motoring playground, a space where speed, technology, and community collided in full throttle.
As the festival heads into its final day, anticipation remains high. If day two was anything to go by, the chequered flag will fall on a weekend that has already captured the hearts of South Africa’s motoring faithful.
