Brothers dominate in junior golf
Two brothers, one passion, endless talent. Jules (9) and Clément (11) are not just siblings, they’re rising stars rewriting the rules of junior golf.
Jules (9) and Clément (11) Blondeau Benite, residents of Dainfern Golf Estate, are already capturing attention on the international junior golf stage, and they’ve only been swinging clubs for just over a year.
The brothers’ journey began in April 2024 when their father, Eric, introduced them to golf. Jules immediately took to the sport, playing in a 9-hole adult competition at The World of Golf just a week later, finishing second overall and even beating his dad.
“That’s when I knew I really liked it,” Jules said. Clément, initially focused on soccer, joined in May and quickly discovered the satisfaction of tracking personal progress and earning trophies.

Their dedication paid off. In July 2025, both competed at the Champion of Champions World Championship at Lough Erne Resort in Northern Ireland, facing more than 250 of the world’s top junior golfers.
Jules claimed the U9 World Champion title with rounds of 35, 37, and 33, while Clément impressed in the U12 division, finishing 11th with scores of 72, 74, and 80.
“The World Series was amazing,” said Jules. “Training at Le Golf Nationale in Paris with the French Golf Federation’s High Performance Centre really helped me feel confident and ready.”
Clément added: “Playing against the best was exciting and challenging, but all the preparation gave me confidence.”
Their rise has been supported by top coaching at home and abroad.

The boys trained with Derrick Lekoma at The World of Golf, Christopher Wright at Huddle Park Golf Club, and Hendrik Buhrmann at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate. They also received coaching from Patrice Amadeu at Le Golf Nationale in Paris and worked with Scott Davis in Australia ahead of the Australian Masters for Juniors, where Jules placed 3rd in the boys U9 division and Clément 6th in the boys U11 category.

At home in South Africa, the brothers continue to shine, most recently at the SA Kids Junior Open at San Lameer Golf Club in KwaZulu-Natal, where Jules tied for first in the boys 9–10 division before narrowly losing in a playoff, and Clément finished fourth in the boys 11–12 category.
Beyond golf, Jules and Clément are multi-talented athletes, participating in soccer, swimming, basketball, and track and field. They are also co-founders of My Planet Protectors, a youth-led environmental initiative.
Aloysie Benite, their humbled mother, expressed pride in their achievements. “It was incredible to see both of them shine. For me, it’s about supporting their passion while letting them enjoy the journey.”
