Michelle Johnson, of Junxion Gymnastics, said, “This year’s achievements are incredibly meaningful for our club. They represent the hard work, dedication, and passion of our gymnasts, coaches, and families. From our youngest athletes to our level 4+ competitive gymnasts, every result shows consistent growth, resilience, and a strong club culture built on support and excellence.”

Johnson added that the club takes pride in developing confident, capable athletes, while fostering a genuine love for the sport.

“These accomplishments affirm that we are moving in the right direction. We are incredibly proud of how far the club has come this year. We are even more excited about what the future holds.”

She also added that, throughout the year, Junxion Gymnastics has supported its athletes with a well-rounded and consistent approach. “The coaching team focuses, not only on developing technical skills, but also on building confidence, discipline, and mental resilience. Structured training programmes, individual feedback, and extra training sessions when needed have played a key role in helping gymnasts reach their full potential.”

Beyond the gym floor, Johnson said the club prioritises creating a positive and encouraging environment.

Achievements are celebrated, setbacks are managed with care, and open communication with parents remains a cornerstone of the club’s philosophy. The goal is to ensure that every athlete feels supported, valued, and empowered to grow as a gymnast and as a young person.

Looking ahead to 2026, Junxion Gymnastics aims for continued growth, athlete development, and strengthening team culture.

The club plans to refine technical foundations, increase consistency across all apparatus, and support more gymnasts as they confidently progress to higher competitive levels.

Johnson said there are also plans to expand competition opportunities, both locally and provincially, while ensuring that each gymnast’s personal journey is supported and celebrated.

“On a broader level, the focus will be on expanding coaching resources, improving training programmes, and continuing to build a safe, motivating, and inspiring space for gymnasts of all levels.”
