Achievers The Red Frogs

Red Frogs are Here for You

If you have just finished school, a university student who loves having a good time or a concerned parent who wants to ensure that their child is safe at all times then the Red Frogs are here to help.
With a team of volunteers throughout the country, they aim at safeguarding the youth and empowering young people to make positive life choices and become a voice of change within their culture.
Red Frogs is a support programme for young people from the ages of 15 to 25. They recognise that the culture of young people is dominated by alcohol and that excessive consumption of alcohol and other substances can lead to dangerous and life-altering behaviours.
Because of this, the Red Frogs make it their mission to provide a positive peer presence in alcohol-fuelled environments where young people gather. They educate young people on safe partying behaviours, and promote and provide non-alcoholic and/or diversionary activities that engage young people in these environments.
As a result of being practical, available and consistent in serving, they are placed in a position of trust with young people, by building friendships, thereby enabling them to assist and lead young people through some of the most challenging times of their lives.
The Red Frogs engage in acts of generosity that foster relationships and display genuine care and concern for the lives of others.
They display professionalism in their approach, programmes and activities, equip staff and volunteers by mentoring, training and resourcing to effectively engage in their work with young people. Known for their mean pancake-making skills, the Red Frogs will come out to dorms or party venues for teens and young adults in need, fill them with food and water and ensure they are safe and in a stable state of mind.
Red Frogs is a registered as a non-profit organisation and a public benefit organisation.
