Crawford College Lonehill

About Crawford College Lonehill

Crawford Lonehill’s dedication to excellence has hugely benefited our students over the past 20 years, and this commitment to excellence is an over-riding philosophy that permeates every aspect of our school.  We are committed to providing our students with the finest, most well-rounded education available.  Academic excellence is fostered in every classroom, and our students are exposed to and practise competencies required in the fourth industrial revolution era.

Critical and creative thinking, research skills, self-management skills, as well as social and communication skills feature highly in our academic programme.  Our exceptionally skilled and passionate teachers are regularly exposed to new developments and insights in the field of education to encourage independent thought, nurture talent and inspire each student to achieve his or her maximum potential. Our high-calibre academic programme is complemented by a strong and competitive sports programme, as well as several cultural programmes and community outreach projects.

Our diverse sports offering provides opportunities for students who wish to partake competitively or for the sheer fun of it.  Our most competitive sports include water polo, netball, hockey and soccer.  We also encourage those who wish to pursue their passion in the arts, languages or information and communication technology, and music soirees, art exhibitions, drama productions, public speaking, debating and robotics form an integral part of College life. A large number of students participate actively in our strong community outreach programme and impact the lives of less fortunate people, abandoned animals, and the environment in a positive manner.  Furthermore, our students have opportunities to take on various leadership roles through involvement in our Student Executive and the Students’ Representative Council.

The variety of curricular and co-curricular activities offered at Crawford College Lonehill enables our students to leave our College at the end of Grade 12 with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes that are required in the 21st century world and workplace.  As a result, many of our students thrive at tertiary level, achieving top local and international university results.
