To the Class of 2017 – congratulations on an outstanding set of results!
In 2017 47 candidates wrote the NSC and 19 the Combined NSC Abitur. All of the candidates passed. All candidates passed with an entrance to further study at a tertiary institution. From the combined stream, all 19 candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study for a bachelor’s degree. All 19 candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study at a German tertiary institution or at a tertiary institution in those countries that recognise the German International Abitur. From the NSC stream, 45 candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study a bachelor’s degree and two candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study for a diploma or higher certificate at a tertiary institution in South Africa. This means that 96.97% have a bachelor degree pass (BD) and 3,03% have a diploma pass (D).
