A soul searching performance
FOURWAYS - Floyd's 99 Barbershop’s second Live and Uncut session was an absolute success with young and enthusiastic Fourways residents lending their support to the featured up and coming artists.
The singer songwriters for the evening were local radio DJ and performer, Mike Marinus and Justin Serrao.
“Learning from our first session, we encouraged the artists to share more about the stories behind the songs and as a result an element of honesty was created with the tone of the evening becoming intimate, engaging,” said Floyd’s 99 Barbershop’s social media manager, Lauren Espach.
“The atmosphere gave the artists a real platform not only to showcase their talent, but to interact with the crowd on a personal level,” she said.
The next Live and Uncut session will be held on 31 July at the Barber Shop in Fourways Crossing. Guests are encouraged to book, as space is limited.
