Two die in Lanseria plane crash

Two people have been killed following the crash of a light aircraft outside the Lanseria airport.
Crisis communicator of ER24, Vanessa Jackson, said investigations were still underway as to the cause of the plane crash. “According to witnesses it appeared that the trouble
started shortly after take off and the plane then went down,” she said.

A man and a woman were on board the aircraft when it crashed into an open field outside the airport. “When rescuers and paramedics arrived it was evident that the two had not survived their injuries. Paramedics declared them dead a short while later,” Jackson said.
