Domestic forum needs more attendance

LONEHILL - The Lonehill Residents Association held their monthly domestic forum at the Lonehill Fire Station.

The association’s Shelley Miller said they would love to see more Lonehill domestic workers attending.

“The meetings, which take no longer than an hour and a half, are so beneficial to the members and to the Lonehill Residents Association,” she said.

Miller said during the meeting, Fidelity gave an update on security, which was followed by a Q & A session.

The meeting also gave Carmen Rayner of Mama Shes the perfect platform to talk about the Blue Bag Recycling Initiative and why people should be recycling.

“At the next meeting in September we will continue this theme with a talk by Tetra Pak,” Miller added.

“Continuing with our theme of Reduce, Re-use, Recycle at the next domestic forum, our members will be involved in an interactive workshop and will make a bird feeder from 2 litre Coke bottles,” Miller said. She asked residents in the area to help with this initiative by donating their old bottles to the Lonehill Residents Association.
