Dainfern College’s class of distinction

KYALAMI - Dainfern College's matric class of 2013 achieved excellent results in the IEB examinations.

Matric pupils managed to carry on Dainfern’s 13-year record of a 100 percent pass rate.

They also managed to obtain a 100 percent university exemption which means that all 65 pupils qualified to attend university.

The class also achieved 162 distinctions with an average of 2.5 subject distinctions per matriculant.

Emiel Zyd, Christopher van der Meulen and Jeremy Li Wan Po ranked in the top five percent of pupils in the IEB examinations in six or more subjects.

Zyd ranked in the top one percent in accounting, Afrikaans, English, French, history, life orientation, mathematics, advanced programme mathematics and physical sciences.

Christopher van der Meulen ranked in the top one percent for Afrikaans, life orientation, mathematics, advanced programme mathematics and physical sciences.

Li Wan Po ranked within the top one percent for accounting, life sciences, mathematics and physical sciences.

Other notable achievers were Chloe Connellan who ranked in the top one percent for geography and

Gregory Holding who ranked in the top one percent for life orientation.

Dainfern College is extremely proud of the achievements of their matric class of 2013.
