Dog lover finds a new friend

CHARTWELL- Woman adopts dog after having a vision.

After the death of her beloved dog Harry on 5 March, dog lover Jaci Tibbit ‘saw’ her pet that passed away in the clouds, and quickly made plans to adopt another dog.

During her period of mourning Tibbit said, “I was sitting outside on our patio where I normally sit, attending to my emails as I work from home. I looked up to the sky and the clouds had cleared, not for long though, but there was my precious Harry in the clouds looking directly at me with a big smile on his face… his eyes were sparkling, surrounded by a halo effect of the silver lining of the clouds. My heart lifted with absolute joy and relief as I just know now that he is safe and in heaven.”

Knowing her beloved pup was in dog heaven led her to adopt a one-year old female dachshund named Princess from Ark Animal Centre.

Princess, in turn, has helped Tibbit through the hard time after the death of Harry, a loving canine partner who had supported her with happiness for 14 years.

“Princess is great fun and certainly is bringing us so much joy,” she said.

She has urged the community to adopt struggling and sick animals, and that while many people buy pure-breeds at a massive cost, there are many pure-breed dogs in shelters, just waiting for a home.
