A green day for Human Rights

KYALAMI - The Greater Kyalami Conservancy is spreading its green fingers to Diepsloot in celebration of Human Rights Day on 21 March from 10am to 12pm.

A healthy environment and promoting constitutional rights to the residents of Diepsloot are the two aims of the day.

The conservancy, which stretches from Blue Hills and Crowthorne in Midrand to Kyalami, Kyalami Agricultural Holdings, Beaulieu, Helderfontein and Riversands bordering on Diepsloot, will partner with two organisations: Diepsloot’s Environmental Community Forum Bontle ke Thlago and WASSUP Sanitation.

The aim is for Kyalami and Diepsloot to work together on environmental issues in Diepsloot. A table will be set up on the corner of Ndimatsheloni and Godfrey Moloi streets in Diepsloot Extension 1 and more community members are welcome to join.

WASSUP Sanitation will showcase their upgraded toilets and data gathering installations. Bontle ke Thlago will promote their recycling buy-back centre.

Artists will perform environmental messages.
