Walking for Easter eggs

KYALAMI - JUST as Valentine's Day was marked with a charity dog walk, so too will Easter.

The Valentine’s walk helped to raise funds for the President Park-based Kitty and Puppy Haven as well as the Highveld Horse Care Unit, and these two charities will again be the recipients of the Easter walk hosted at the SA Lipizzaner Centre in Kyalami.

The theme is Easter, so owners and their pets are expected to dress to theme and share in the fun on a 2.5km or 5km walk around Kyalami.

The day promises lots of exercise as well as rewards. A hunt for Easter eggs is also on the cards, and refreshments and catering will be available at the SA Lipizzaners afterwards.

The walk will be held on 5 April and starts at 9am. It costs R30 per person – but dogs walk for free.
