These suburbs include Lonehill East, Paulshof and Sunninghill, and Leeuwkop Correctional facility.
The majority of Fourways suburbs are policed by Douglasdale police and the Douglasdale Community Policing Forum.
As a non-profit organisation, The Sandton Community Police Forum continuously appeals to businesses as part of their corporate social responsibility, to financially assist the forum to combat crime.
The forum is manned by volunteers who work in close co-operation with police to create a safe and community within the Sandton precinct.
“We support the Sandton police by inter-alia providing our five sector commanders with mobile phones, funding advanced driver’s training courses, assisting with the provision of very necessary maintenance and improvements to the Sandton police station, and keeping the doors open to our vitally important victim empowerment group,” said the forum’s chairperson Wendy Vorster-Robertson.
“We are also urgently needing the services of a web designer to maintain our website on a voluntary basis,” she added.
