Participate in Ward 112 by-election
SUN VALLEY – The time for Ward 112 residents to elect a new ward councillor is drawing near as the by-election date is set for 2 July.

The by-election comes after Ward 112 councillor Leverne Young resigned from the DA to join the ANC in April.
Young is running for the position again in her new political party. She will be contesting the election against two other candidates. The DA has put forward Candice James and the African Christian Democratic Party has nominated Wayne Sinclair.
Voting stations will be set up at the Swiss Club in Vorna Valley, Halfway House Primary School, Cluny Farm in Sun Valley, Fly Fishing Adventures in Carlsald, Midrand High School, Scorpion College and St George Complex.
Lydia Young in the communication department of the Electoral Commission said the total voter population in the ward was just over 22 300.
