Soldierboy extends a helping hand
DOUGLASDALE - Tough as nails Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Garreth 'Soldierboy' McLellan showed his softer side at a fundraising breakfast at Wimpy Douglasdale.
While he may be a titan in the cage, McLellan rallied his Soldierboy Management team together for a delicious breakfast to raise funds for his Helping Others Rise Above Foundation.
According to McLellan’s manager and wife, Ginnie the owners of Wimpy Douglasdale, Wendy and Ryan Joubert are loyal supporters of Soldierboy Management and were happy to play host to the event. The Jouberts have also committed to hosting future events to raise funds for community projects which McLellan feels strongly about.
Ginnie said Soldierboy Management encouraged the public to email them with stories or projects which they would like a helping hand with.
