Paulshof goes pink for cancer awareness

PAULSHOF - The Rietfontein Nature Reserve in Paulshof was transformed into a pink paradise in support of breast cancer awareness.

Lita Jacobsen, along with Paulshof Hill residents, the Paulshof Residents’ and Ratepayers’ Association and Friends of Rietfontein put together a fun-filled picnic to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

With the help of community businesses like Tuberflora, Mugg and Bean at Cambridge Crossing, Off the Grid pub and Sky Dance Studio, the picnic was a great success.

Residents had a wonderful time picnicing and socialising, while snacking on delicious baked goods from Mugg and Bean and listening to the musical talent of Joanne Cooper.

They also enjoyed an aerial silk demonstration by Sky Dance Studio. All the funds raised at the picnic will go towards giving mammograms to the domestic workers of Paulshof.
