Lonehill pilot fair takes off

FOURWAYS – THE Lonehill Village Fair was recently launched successfully with residents and local businesses interacting freely at the Lonehill Park.

The free-roam style fair was organised by THINK Community and was aimed at creating a platform for local businesses to take their services directly to the Lonehill and Beverley homeowners.

Trevor Nel of THINK Community said he was happy with the turnout and that he was encouraged to organise more of these types of events for the community.

“We had about 500 people walking through the stalls every hour. This is a great response from the community,” he said.

Businesses at the fair included massage stalls, cancer support groups, cupcake stalls and furniture stalls among many others.
