William Nicol Drive covered in poo
FOURWAYS - The busy William Nicol Drive in Fourways was covered with faeces on 24 July.
The atrocious-smelling poop covered parts of the road surface, much to the disgust of motorists.
The Fourways Review news team drove on the road and saw lumps of faeces that appeared to have fallen from a truck.
“I wonder what this could be, but it is smelling like human waste,” said an unidentified motorist who was interviewed in a traffic jam.
Pedestrians were seen crossing the road covering their noses with their hands, while motorists closed their windows to keep the stench at bay.
Fortunately, the weekend drizzle seems to have swept it away.
Fourways Review was unsuccessful in acquiring an explanation regarding the faeces from Pikitup.
