William Nicol dealership employees hijacked, Maserati stolen

FOURWAYS - Two employees from a local Maserati dealership was kidnapped during a hijacking of one of their luxury vehicles from the store.

Two employees from the Maserati dealership on William Nicol were hijacked earlier today by five armed assailants.

It is believed that the two employees were on their way to a petrol station when they were accosted by 5 armed men who sprang out from a white Audi.

According to reports, the armed men forced the two employees to lay down on their backs and they allegedly drove away with the luxury vehicle with the two employees in it.

Authorities attempted to locate the employees and the vehicle by tracking their cell phones, however, that proved unsuccessful as the phones were found dumped near Diepsloot.

The two employees were eventually found unharmed in Basonia, however, the luxury vehicle was nowhere to be found.

Walter Spencer, head of communications at the Randburg Police Station, said, “A case has been opened at Randburg Police Station and is currently being investigated. The vehicle has not been found yet.”
