Diepsloot police officers make schoolchildren feel safe after two schools searched

FOURWAYS – Diepsloot police officers search Akani Combined School and Reshomile Primary School.

 

Diepsloot Police Station held a school search at Akani Combined School and Reshomile Primary School in Diepsloot.

With great relief, police officers did not find any dangerous weapons.

The Diepsloot Social Crime Prevention officers and sector managers were involved in the search. “They appealed to the children of Diepsloot to report all criminal activities to their teachers and to the police,” said Constable Jenny Morata, spokesperson for Diepsloot Police Station.

The schoolchildren were delighted to hear that they could feel safe in their school and that there was a place they could go to in the event of suspicious activity.
