FOURWAYS – Hirsch's domestic of the month has been chosen. Read here to share in their joy.
Two Fourways domestic workers, Aletta Sambatha and Agnes Phora, won the Hirsch’s Fourways domestic of the month award on 21 September.
Sambatha and Phora were both overwhelmed when they heard that they were nominated and received such glowing recommendations.
The nominations were kept secret and the two women were visibly surprised when their names were announced.
“We gave them their beautiful certificates and they were very happy to see that we now include the subject of the workshop, as they requested,” said Sharron Dingle, public relations officer at Hirsch’s Fourways.
Adele Guthrie from Meet Your Maid then showed the women how to clean up after pets in a home.
“Samu Gumbi our local ‘mompreneur’, challenged them to get out of their comfort zones and take what they have and work with it. She motivated and challenged them and then encouraged them to come back next month with the story of what they did with their new motivation.”
